T.E.A.M. Tillamook
T.E.A.M. Tillamook was founded by the Tillamook Christian Ministerial Association based in Tillamook County, Oregon. T.E.A.M. Tillamook is an acronym for Together Encouraging All Ministries of Jesus Christ. Through the creation of T.E.A.M., the organization has helped sponsor and support other organizations through the Tillamook County area. Organizations like the Tillamook County Men for Christ, Aglow Lighthouse, Tillamook County-Wide Prayer Team and others.
In December 2009, Tillamook Christian Center approached T.E.A.M. Tillamook to start an outreach store in the community. The church was seeking a covering under the body of T.E.A.M. as this is to be a joint project with several of the T.E.A.M. partners in the community. The T.E.A.M. Tillamook board met and approved this covering under the umbrella of T.E.A.M.
Tillamook Christian Center began organizing a new outlet titled the T.E.A.M. Tillamook Resource Center, designed to receive donations from the community, resell items back to the community and use the proceeds for outreach in Tillamook County. To date, we have contributed to Celebrate Recovery, Kidz Sports Camp sponsorships in Tillamook County, Kidz Klub bus ministry and the Tillamook Food Bank.
T.E.A.M. Tillamook Resource Center has been approached to create a Food Pantry large enough to serve the north end of Tillamook and Tillamook County. There have also been some requests from the community to help store emergency and shelter supplies when an area-wide disaster strikes.
